About The Position
Immediate Opening: Overnight Skilled Caregiver Jefferson City, MO Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring a dependable, experienced caregiver to provide one on one overnight support in Jefferson City. This shift takes place while the client sleeps. Some rest is permitted, but you must be able to remain alert and respond at any time the client needs assistance. Schedule: Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8 pm to 6 am Your skills can help someone live safely and comfortably at home. Apply today to make a meaningful difference. Requirements
- Previous professional caregiving experience
- Experience with memory care required
- Comfortable providing hands on transfer and mobility assistance
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Provide hands on assistance with transfers and mobility
- Assist with bathing and dressing as needed
- Provide toileting support
- Offer companionship and reassurance during the night
- Complete light household tasks while the client rests
- Remain attentive and ready to assist at all times
