About The Position

Provides quality, cost-effective healthcare under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Emphasis shall be placed on maximizing patient's functional abilities in the activities of daily living; promoting, maintaining and restoring health, preventing and minimizing the disabilities of acute and chronic illness. Discharges duties in a responsible professional manner while demonstrating values of respect, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Actions are consistent with hospital policies and procedures and current standards/regulation governing nursing practice and long-term care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• WV CNA Certification or eligibility for reciprocity.
• CPR certification required.
• Eligibility to work under WV Cares.
