About The Position

To manage all functions/aspects of running a brake press, following job specifications and instructions provided from the set-up of the machine, testing, QC, to project completion.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1-3 years applicable experience
• Must have experience with brake press, laser punch, waterjet, and CNC router
• Metal manufacturing/fabrication background
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience, a plus
• Amada-specific machinery experience, a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for machine/program set-up
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and challenges
• Must be able to follow job specifications/travelers, and interpret direction details
• Must be able to take direction while also self-guide work tasks
• Responsible for initial QC of finished part to ensure quality
