Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate a skid steer loader to perform tasks including, but not limited to: Excavating and digging trenches. Grading and leveling ground. Loading and unloading materials like soil, gravel, and rock. Clearing debris, snow, and brush. Transporting materials around a job site.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance on the equipment, including fluid levels (oil, water, fuel), visual inspections for leaks and damage, and safety equipment checks.
• Attach and operate various skid steer attachments, such as buckets, brooms, grapples, and forks.
• Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Coordinate machine actions with other crew members using hand signals or audio communication.
• Maintain a clean and functional work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
