Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)
- Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
- Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer equipment to move materials such as Lay flat, Crossings, and dirt across job sites
- Perform grading, leveling, trenching, and site preparation work as directed by supervisors
- Load and unload trucks with materials and equipment using the skid steer
- Attach and operate various skid steer attachments (buckets, lay flat deployer, forks, trenchers, etc.) depending on project needs
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with supervisors, spotters, and other crew members to coordinate safe and efficient work
- Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, utilities, and equipment while operating machinery
- Assist with general labor tasks when equipment operation is not required
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
