Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)
  • Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
  • Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steer equipment to move materials such as Lay flat, Crossings, and dirt across job sites
  • Perform grading, leveling, trenching, and site preparation work as directed by supervisors
  • Load and unload trucks with materials and equipment using the skid steer
  • Attach and operate various skid steer attachments (buckets, lay flat deployer, forks, trenchers, etc.) depending on project needs
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations while operating equipment
  • Communicate with supervisors, spotters, and other crew members to coordinate safe and efficient work
  • Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, utilities, and equipment while operating machinery
  • Assist with general labor tasks when equipment operation is not required
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
