About The Position

The Ski Valet Supervisor shift entails delivering equipment to ski in/ski out Hotel Madeline guests, offering our support service and checking equipment in and out during the customers stay. This position is based in the Hotel Madeline Valet located by the top of the Chondola at the Telluride Resort Mountain Village. You will be working closely with the Hotel Madeline team to provide seamless service to our and their guests. This Ski Valet Supervisor role is to help promote a productive environment allowing the team to have quality guest interactions. More specifically, you will be responsible for leading a team of Ski Technicians/ Ski Valet Technicians in their role of delivering ski rental equipment to guests in their accommodations, planning future shifts, ensuring quality equipment, and helping to answer guest questions related to our service and products. You will also be responsible for growing the business and will be rewarded as it grows.

• Knowledge of ski equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ski/snowboard rentals and accessories to our customers’ accommodations.
• Get the guest excited about their ski trip by focusing on our Key Customer Requirements.
• Ensure timely arrival at the agreed upon time.
• Provide the right equipment for each customer in great condition.
• Set clear expectations around the entire scope of service.
• Check equipment in and out of the valet, working directly with the hotel front desk team.
• Provide equipment support to our customers and fellow ski technicians.
• Pickup equipment after our guests' last ski/snowboard day.
• Stage orders for future deliveries.
• Perform basic ski tuning, waxing, and general maintenance of our equipment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop.
• Answering and making calls to our guests.
• Perform administrative work.
• Build relationships with the hotel team.
