About The Position
The Ski Team Host / Assistant position at Palisades Tahoe is a seasonal role designed for individuals who are passionate about skiing and working with athletes. The primary responsibility of the Ski Team Host is to support the functions of the ski team as directed by the Manager, Head Coach, or Director. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for both athletes and their parents, as well as contributing to the overall success of the team. Success in this position is measured by the quality of the athlete and employee experience, the skill acquisition and performance of athletes during assessments, and the satisfaction and retention of both athletes and parents. As a Ski Team Host, you will be expected to meet and greet guests, athletes, and parents daily, serving as a role model and supervisor for a group of athletes. You will assist in setting up and breaking down team environments, including meeting areas, lunch and break areas, and queuing areas. Maintaining the cleanliness and quality of team facilities is also a key responsibility. Effective communication with team members, guests, and employees is essential, as is adherence to company guidelines and policies. You will be required to attend and contribute positively to trainings and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager. This position requires individuals to be at least 18 years of age and is ideal for those who enjoy working in a dynamic outdoor environment, engaging with people, and contributing to the development of young athletes.
