About The Position

Job Title: Ski Patroller Type of Position: Full-time, Seasonal - 2026/27 Winter Season Schedule: May include weekends/holidays Pay Rate: Starts at $21.00/hr., based on skills and experience Job Posting Deadline: This posting is for next winter season - Winter 2026/27. We are looking for happy, enthusiastic, hardworking, experienced skiers and snowboarders to join our team. Tryouts can be scheduled for qualified candidates once an application is submitted. Summary Ski patrollers are responsible for the on-mountain safety of the Resort, providing medical care and emergency services to guests and employees, as well as ski trail maintenance. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities. Essential Functions Educate Loveland Ski Area guests on skier safety and current snow conditions; provide a friendly and approachable liaison for guests’ questions and concerns. Provide emergency medical services to customers and employees on mountain and in the aid room. Evacuate injured skiers/snowboarders from mountain or base area to patrol room. Mitigate hazardous and unsafe conditions. Avalanche control and rescue. Chair lift evacuation. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age and possess High School Diploma or equivalent. Be customer service and safety minded with strong interpersonal skills and team oriented. Ability to obtain and maintain EMT-B and/or Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certifications. Proficient skiing/snowboarding ability as determined by the Ski Patrol Leadership Team. What’s in it for You? Requirements
