About The Position

The Ski and Snowboard Instructor position at Wisp Resort involves teaching and developing skiing and snowboarding skills for guests of varying skill levels. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a resort environment is ideal.
• Basic English language skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills.
• First Aid Certificate (may be required).
• Background check and fingerprinting may be required.

Nice To Haves

• PSIA/AASI certification levels (optional).

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons as assigned according to skill and certification level.
• Assist other instructors as required.
• Provide information on snow sports programs and be a source of information for all resort programs.
• Develop and improve teaching and riding skills; attend all mandatory training sessions.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the learning area and maintain a safe learning area.
• Exhibit a desire to work with and relate to children, parents, guests, and employees.
• Demonstrate initiative, organization, effective communication, and group management skills.
• Work well with a team and independently, serving as a role model with high integrity and adaptability.
