About The Position

The Skate Host at Millennium is responsible for monitoring skaters on the ice and ensuring optimal ice conditions at a seasonal ice rink. This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and effective communication with both guests and staff.

Requirements

• Must possess advanced skating ability
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must follow all Federal, State and Local COVID mandates/guidelines

Responsibilities

• Monitor skaters and ensure proper ice safety procedures are followed
• Alert managers to any unsafe or potentially hazardous ice conditions
• Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately
• Assist guests during incidents or falls and contact management when necessary
• Maintain ice during inclement weather or as needed
• Practice excellent customer service on and off the ice
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests
• Assist set-up and take down for special events
• Attend all training sessions and staff meetings
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Benefits

• Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
