The SJHP RN Clinical Coordinator provides clinical day to day operational direction and leadership necessary for Providers and Caregivers to attain our mission, vision and values. This requires well-honed skills in coaching, motivating and leading a professional clinical team so that our patients receive personalized, high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in New Mexico
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • One (1) year of experience as a Charge Nurse and/or related Management or Leadership experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Prior experience in related clinical or medical office setting
  • Certified Ambulatory Care Nurse
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or related certification

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the Medical Director, Director and Manager, ensure strong working relationships with Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Caregivers, other leaders and departments.
  • Meet or exceed day to day clinical operational focused performance expectations.
  • Understand health care economics and health care public policy.
  • Demonstrate strong financial aptitude and business planning abilities.
  • Identify opportunities and provide direction for program development.
  • Knowledgeable in various recruitment and interviewing techniques.
  • Commit to all aspects of employee development.
  • Coach and mentor clinical team members to promote and develop skills and behaviors necessary to execute department strategy.
  • Monitor clinical team schedule to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Develop clinical education, competencies and orientation within the department.
  • Participate in department and organizational quality initiatives.
  • Assure the safety of patients and staff is maintained.
  • Exhibit effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Lead a team and facilitate collaboration.
  • Promote and implement shared decision-making structures and processes.
  • Actively participate in personal and professional growth and development.
  • Utilize information technology systems to support business decisions.
