SIU Supervisor $69,264 – $88,645 minimum starting pay Job Level: Supervisor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing: The Special Investigations Supervisor will oversee and direct investigations of potential fraud and other special investigations. They will oversee and provide direction to branch and home office personnel on higher-level investigations. They provide prompt and fair claims investigations and perform all duties associated with investigating claims referred to SIU related to possible insurance fraud, and other special investigations as assigned by the Manager or Director. Requirements

  • Requires an advanced level of knowledge acquired through job experience and advanced coursework, claims or SIU training.
  • Minimum of three years of successful experience in claims, SIU, law enforcement, or similar related insurance experience typically required.
  • Maintains current industry knowledge, including meeting all continuing education requirements for the position.
  • Excellent organization, analysis, investigation, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Physical ability to drive long distances, travel extensively, and testify at trials about claims and claims handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • CPCU, SCLA, CFE, CIFI, or other professional designations, or working towards such designations is preferred.
