About The Position

The SIU Claims Investigator position at Advantage Surveillance involves conducting thorough investigations of various insurance claims, including auto, property, homeowner liability, and worker's compensation. The role is crucial in supporting client objectives and maintaining the company's quality standards. The investigator will utilize strategic planning and technology to provide clarity on claimants' daily activities, ultimately helping clients save time and money.

Requirements

• Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
• Prior claim handling and investigation experience
• Full comprehension of case management systems
• Able to proactively conduct follow-ups as needed
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Proficient in computer technology, including Microsoft Office products, email, and the ability to produce quality, well-written reports
• Ability to pass a 10 Panel Drug Screening
• Self-starter with a disciplined work ethic and ability to ask relevant questions when needed, and work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Private Investigator License, registration, or the ability to obtain one in California
• B.S. in Criminal Justice or related field
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to recognize potential fraud and develop a reasonable plan for investigation
• Prior related SIU Claims experience
• Ability to acquire broadband internet service.

Responsibilities

• Independently review the assignment, supporting documentation, and all other case information prior to commencing the on-site assignment.
• Consult with the Manager on appropriate strategies for individual cases, before and throughout the investigative process.
• Locate subjects of the assigned investigation and conduct applicable case investigations, usually including statements and scene investigations.
• Create and maintain written daily updates, including supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final investigative reports for submission to Account Managers for distribution to clients.
