About The Position

The position involves maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. The role requires observing confused patients at risk for harm to themselves or others, as well as those under suicide protection precautions. Protecting patient confidentiality is paramount, and the individual is expected to demonstrate continued professional growth while providing an environment that shows caring, compassion, and respect for all patients' families and visitors. Additionally, the role contributes to the growth and performance of the department and utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff. Handling customer complaints promptly and effectively is essential, as is recognizing potential or real problems and presenting workable solutions with a positive attitude. Competency in various areas such as infection control, confidentiality, patient safety, fall prevention, emergency notification, and more is required. The individual will also perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS diploma preferred or GED from an accredited school.
  • Successful completion of WIN Testing or completion of McLeod approved Transition to Work Program.
