We are seeking a skilled Sitecore Developer to join our Financial Marketing Services department at the World Trade Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This position is a Limited Duration Employee role, ideal for candidates with 6 to 10 years of experience in Sitecore and .NET-based CMS. The successful candidate will be expected to work during UK business hours and will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining websites using Sitecore CMS, ensuring that all solutions align with business requirements and best practices.

  • Provide technical support and develop websites using Sitecore CMS
  • Design and implement custom solutions using Sitecore, ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • Integrate Sitecore with other systems and third-party applications
  • Maintain and write clean, efficient code while adhering to Sitecore best practices
  • Optimise Sitecore performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure pages render correctly across multiple browsers/versions with a consistent look and feel
  • Work with git repositories, managing branching and merging code appropriately
  • Define and enforce coding standards in existing and new web pages
  • Review and approve code written by junior developers, providing mentorship as needed
  • Participate in calls to design and conceptualise solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Stay updated on the latest Sitecore features and advancements and quickly adapt to technology/platform changes
  • Willingness to work during UK business hours
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
  • 6-10 years of experience working on Sitecore and/or .NET-based CMS
  • Experience with at least one project related to Headless CMS with Next JS
  • Ability to advise and build the architecture for Sitecore headless transformation
  • Experience with Sitecore Experience Cloud and Sitecore Experience Manager
  • Strong HTML, CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD) skills, including experience with Bootstrap and SASS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, working experience in vanilla JavaScript, JQuery and similar libraries
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft .NET 8+ and ability to comfortably work with C#
  • Good understanding of DevOps, cloud infrastructure and security
  • Strong understanding of git and testing on BrowserStack
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff and clients over email and phone
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Knowledge of/interest in capital markets, funds and asset management
