About The Position

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Administrator to lead the administration and management of our ServiceNow platform at USSOCOM. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and will be responsible for optimizing system performance, implementing best practices, and mentoring junior administrators. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 16 years with HS Diploma, 14 years AS/AA degree, 12 years with BS/BA degree, 10 years with MS/MA, 7 years with PhD
• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
• DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with a proven track record of successful implementations and management
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification; Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified Implementation Specialist)
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM/SAM
• Experience with ServiceNow integration tools and APIs
• Experience with ServiceNow On-Prem instance implementation, management, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of database management and SQL (MariaDB)
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability
• Lead the implementation of new modules, applications, and enhancements based on business requirements
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and document technical specifications and workflows
• Develop and enforce best practices for ServiceNow administration, including system security, user access, and data integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the ServiceNow platform, providing timely support to users
• Conduct system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure the platform is up-to-date and secure
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices
• Monitor system performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations
• Stay current with ServiceNow updates, features, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization
• Enforces ServiceNow license management & governance (e.g. User, App, API Usage, Custom Tables, etc.)

Benefits

• Salary range: $104,000 - $166,000
• Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
