Peraton requires Multi-Discipline Engineers (MDE) to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The Multi-Discipline Engineer maintains enterprise service continuity as systems and network responsibilities shift CONUS, ensuring lean forward support aligned to the SIE OPORD.

  • Deliver Tier I and II systems administration and limited network support.
  • Install, patch, and upgrade operating systems across enterprise environments.
  • Configure and optimize system software and monitor performance health.
  • Build and maintain servers, perform backups, and execute recovery operations.
  • Troubleshoot Horizon VDI environments and develop associated SOPs.
  • Support systems hosting databases, configuration control, and operational apps.
  • Maintain file servers and troubleshoot documented anomalies.
  • Assist Identity Management roles including AD/GAL synchronization.
  • Provide Directory Services support (DNS, GPO, AADC, ADFS, DFS, Domains and Trust, Sites and Services, RBAC).
  • Administer PKI lifecycle including certificate issuance, middleware troubleshooting, and encryption management.
  • Observe system operations to determine failure points and execute standardized recovery procedures.
  • Study operational instructions to set up and manage applications and storage environments.
  • Administer LAN and WAN operations in accordance with Government standards.
  • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot In Line Encryption devices such as ViaSat.
  • Maintain LAN and WAN security posture and malware control measures.
  • Resolve performance and connectivity issues including ASA and protocol level disruptions.
  • Coordinate network upgrades and integration with CONUS support teams.
  • Maintain network documentation, equipment logs, and performance monitoring reports.
  • Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA degree, 6 years with a MS/MA degree, 3 years with PhD.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • 8570 IAT II Certified.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting and encryption device support preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network systems.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, VDI platforms, PKI administration, and mid tier server operations.
  • Experience applying diagnostic skills to recover degraded systems and coordinate escalation.
  • Operate within a 24/7 SOF environment, which may require shift work, nights, and weekends to support ASI or Outages.
  • MCSA relevant to the candidate's work area.
  • VMware Certified Associate (VCA).
  • VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Microsoft Certified Associate relevant to work area.
  • MCSA Server 2016/2019.
  • Salary range: $80,000 - $128,000.
  • Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
