About The Position

Peraton requires Web Portal Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Web Portal Administrators perform admin level support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Web Portal Administrators continuously observe the operation of assigned applications and storage devices to monitor system operations and determine the point of hardware or software failure. This position manipulates systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction. Administrators confer with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel if errors require a change of instructions or sequences of operations. Administrators maintains operating records such as machine performance and production reports. Maintains, configures, customizes, and manages enterprise SharePoint services and other IIS websites. Implements and troubleshoots SharePoint-based workflows engines. Performs site migrations using various migration methods such as backups/restores, PowerShell site copies, and third-party migration tools. Creates and analyzes reports on web activity, web page hit counts, traffic patterns, and similar performance metrics. Applies patches and updates. Monitors customer feedback and responds to inquiries. Recommends upgrades to the network, server and related equipment, software, and other relevant improvements. Provides desktop support to end users by responding to requests for technical assistance. Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues. Manages user identities, credentials, and privileges on local servers. Develops and maintains user and technical manuals and guidelines. Implements new software products, tools, systems and upgrades. Supports users and stakeholders in the development, and documentation of business requirements. Represents USSOCOM and interfaces with software and hardware vendors for support issues.

Requirements

  • Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with MS/MA
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
  • DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II
