Our work is grounded in our core values: Collaborative – We work as one team across departments Compassionate – We meet people where they are Courageous – We do what’s right, even when it’s hard Respectful – We honor the dignity of every individual About the Role The Site Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations by admitting new patients, maintaining accurate health records, coordinating insurance and benefits, and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and guests. You are often the first point of contact—setting the tone for a patient’s treatment experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education or training in healthcare, administrative support, or practice management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Admit new patients into residential treatment using CODA’s Electronic Health Record system
  • Assist patients with intake paperwork, releases of information, and insurance verification
  • Coordinate scheduling of new patient intakes with Admissions and Site Support leadership
  • Support patients with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) renewal and reactivation
  • Manage patient demographic, billing, and insurance information with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide warm hand-offs to clinical staff to support continuity of care
  • Maintain secure, orderly, and welcoming intake and admit areas
  • Manage paper health records in compliance with HIPAA and CODA policies
  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and by phone, using empathy and professionalism
  • Support patients with Food Stamp card processing and applications
  • Attend team meetings and trainings and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
