Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Site Supply Chain Manager. This position will be located at our Torrance, CA facility. The Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials & scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule coordinated with the Network Planning team through the SIOP process. This role is responsible for leading or supporting the following core processes: - Scheduling production in the short-term horizon based on the S&OE processes. - Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting. - Movement of materials through the facility. - Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation. - Manage logistics activities for the site. The expected annual salary range for this role is $112000 - $164000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: • Manage materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant’s operations by deploying lean material flow. • Administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards. • Support generation of short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network. • Monitor execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan). • Escalate risks of material availability to the COE and Network teams. • Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan. • Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. • Champions and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments (MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping as well as New Product Introduction and growth initiatives. • Maintain target inventory levels and meet OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network. • Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling. • Serve as point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan.
