The position functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The supervisor ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. In emergency situations, the supervisor notifies the proper authorities and the client. Responsibilities include coaching and disciplining personnel, training Security Officers, and reviewing post orders with subordinates. The supervisor assists in payroll submissions and ensures adequate coverage of all posts. They prepare and submit various reports, inspect posts, and meet with subordinates to outline tasks. The supervisor also meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provides quality customer service. Additional supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, and training employees, planning and directing work, addressing complaints, and making hiring and termination recommendations. The supervisor may also perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.
