Reimagine What’s Possible Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor for its Hannibal, MI facility. The Hannibal, MI facility is Standalone SMR that provides Hydrogen the BASF customer facility it is located on. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of site operations including but not limited to EH&S management, operational excellence, contractor management, cost management, productivity, and customer satisfaction being the key areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in process plant operation/maintenance and product distribution
  • A validated commitment to safety, health, and environmental protection
  • A self-starter with demonstrated ability to perform without supervision
  • Willingness to support off hours when needed (24X7 on call)
  • Ability to foster employee engagement and development is a must
  • Experience in asset management including driving a safe work atmosphere where “safe to say” is a key communication attribution
  • Continuous improvement, business profitability and supporting sales and engineering are a proven trait for success in this position
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple support groups
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • must be able to: Climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Meet call-in requirements as needed.
  • Elevated work required.
  • Work in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work history and/or military experience
  • Electrical, instrument or mechanical maintenance experience a plus
  • Ability to read/understand piping and instrumentation drawings a plus
  • Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems
  • Desire and ability to work in a team environment
