About The Position

Carpi specializes in the design and installation of geomembrane systems for waterproofing dams, hydraulic structures, reservoirs, canals, tunnels, and environmental containment systems. Our projects require precision, strong field coordination, and a commitment to quality and safety. We are seeking a Site Supervisor who can support these high‑specialty installations with strong field leadership and technical awareness. The Site Supervisor will lead daily operations on Carpi’s project sites across the U.S. The role ensures safe installations, proper coordination with engineers and project managers, and adherence to technical specifications. This individual will oversee crews, equipment, materials, and documentation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the USA
  • Ability to work 10–12 hour days depending on project needs
  • Comfort working outdoors on dams, reservoirs, canals, hydraulic structures, and remote sites
  • Physically capable of supervising installation activities in varied terrain and conditions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work with international teams and adapt to diverse work environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on government, municipal, or private sector infrastructure projects
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Carpi’s safety protocols and ensure full compliance with client and regulatory standards
  • Conduct daily safety briefings, inspections, and incident reporting
  • Oversee and coordinate field crews during associated civil works
  • Manage daily site operations, work sequencing, and productivity
  • Verify installation work meets design specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with Carpi engineers, project managers, and client representatives
  • Support technical problem-solving and communicate field conditions proactively
  • Ensure smooth coordination with subcontractors and site stakeholders
  • Manage availability, delivery, and proper use of materials and equipment
  • Track inventory and daily consumption of geomembrane materials and accessories
  • Maintain accurate site reports, daily logs, quality checks, and progress updates
  • Document installation steps, measurements, and site conditions as required
