About The Position

Tyonek Services Group will augment services provided by Air Force military personnel to modify, maintain, inspect, control corrosion, overhaul, repair, regenerate and store various weapon systems, related components, missiles, engines, ground support equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in the skill categories to be supervised or a related field.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience directly supervising or leading personnel in a Government Contractor, Military, or Civil Service maintenance capacity.
  • Must be capable and qualified to perform the duties and responsibilities of all task order supervisory requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable T1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely completion of tasks assigned to Contractor personnel In Accordance With (IAW) appropriate planning and scheduling and technical documents.
  • Supervision of contractor employees and/or work lead support in each work area for daily work assignments.
  • Ensure that contractor employees are available for work daily.
  • Manage scheduled leave and emergency time off for employees and properly notify the Government work area supervisor and COR.
  • Account for manpower requirements in work areas daily to ensure workload coverage.
  • Responsible for the reporting of any accident or incident involving Contractor personnel
  • Ensure employees have the proper skillset, training, and/or certifications for assigned work.
  • Other duties as assigned.
