About The Position

The Day Onsite Supervisor assists the District Manager in overseeing the day operations following Service by Medallion quality standards. He or she assists with the administration of our Safety and Operation programs at a management level to provide efficient janitorial services at each one of our sites. The position oversees the daily activity of the account assuring that all quality standards are met by making nightly, personal rounds, assuring subordinates respond promptly safely and efficiently to all service requests. He or she insures that there are adequate staffing levels, supplies and supervision and that the staff is always professional in conduct and appearance. This position is responsible but not limited in building a relationship with all staff, District Managers and route supervisors to ensure a professional direction of our services to the clients

Requirements

Bilingual: English & Spanish due to Union Workers
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Customer and client satisfaction
Ensures, conducts monthly safety meetings and operational trainings are provided to the custodial staff
Works closely with the Onsite Manager and Night Leads to ensure customer satisfaction
Follows up with customer requests and ensures completion of the daily work orders assigned to the route supervisors by their respective managers
Keeps upper management informed in all respects of the nightly operations
Conducts individual QAs (Quality Assurance) Inspections and with Onsite Manager.
Attends operational meetings
Responsible for creating an inventory list of the equipment at each of the sites that SBM services
Manage and track the fleet of Company vehicles on site to ensure their proper maintenance
Handles billable or non-billable product ordering
Works closely with the Onsite Manager and Human Resources to ensure qualified custodians are being hired for the vacant positions to be filled during their shift
Responsible for completion of all special jobs or utility work requested or required
Provides tag work recommendations
Provides employee trainings
Handles and manages employee timecards
Assures that all work order, work requests and special events are completed
Conducts equipment inventory and assures that equipment is well maintained
Responsible for consumables supplies inventory and ordering (if applicable)
Communicates and manages worker’s comp information to the HR department
Develops employee work schedules and maintain them current
Trains, coaches and disciplines employees verbally and in writing
Performs audits (QA/Inspections as required
Creates audit deficiencies into service requests and tracks the progress of the service
Reviews daily service requests with the Onsite Manager.
Tracks and guarantees that all service requests are completed and timely
Ensures compliance with Service by Medallion protocol of approved chemical products and their uses
Ensures compliance of guidelines for quality service rendered by service workers
Documents all employee related issues for processing working with the HR department
Performs daily quality inspections and with the Onsite Manager as necessary
Works with the Onsite Manager to create and quote extra work orders
Ensures that the staff is complying with the contract and meeting the scope of work
