About The Position

PROtect, LLC is seeking an experienced LDAR Supervisor to lead Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and BWON programs at a key refinery site in Norco, LA.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee day-to-day field execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop high-performing teams supporting complex environmental programs.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in LDAR within refinery or industrial environments
• Leadership or supervisory experience in field operations
• Strong understanding of EPA and environmental regulations
• Experience managing remote or multi-site teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

• BWON experience strongly preferred (training provided for strong LDAR leaders)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Science, or Technical field)

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of LDAR and BWON monitoring, inventory, and compliance programs
• Ensure alignment with EPA, state, and site-specific regulations
• Oversee data integrity, calibration records, and reporting accuracy
• Support audits and ensure full regulatory readiness
• Drive SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coach and mentor LDAR and inventory technicians
• Support hiring, onboarding, and field training
• Conduct performance feedback and corrective actions
• Coordinate scheduling, travel, and workforce planning
• Enforce Job Safety Assessments (JSAs) and PPE compliance
• Ensure all certifications and training are up to date
• Partner with Safety leadership to maintain a strong safety culture
• Support field execution as needed to maintain operational continuity
• Lead project coordination and status communication
• Support quoting, estimating, and proposal development
• Identify opportunities to expand LDAR/BWON services
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve operational challenges
• Maintain LDAR/BWON databases, inventory tracking, and reporting systems
• Manage equipment, calibration gas, and supplier coordination
• Support time, expense, and job tracking processes
• Communicate regularly with leadership on site performance and needs
