About The Position

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of employees and managing all janitorial duties at a designated site. This includes ordering supplies, uniforms, and work orders, as well as inspecting completed work to ensure it meets standards. The supervisor will also assist during on-site emergencies and perform various cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms. Additional responsibilities include supervising and executing general cleaning of clubhouse/amenity areas, stripping, buffing, and refinishing floors, issuing cleaning supplies, maintaining inventory, and reporting unsafe conditions or situations requiring intensive cleaning to management.

Requirements

  • Experience supervising a staff and day to day operations.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Three years of experience in custodial services and/or building maintenance, including lead worker responsibilities.
  • Multi tasks work and perform well under pressure.
  • Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Reliable, highly organized, attention to detail, courteous, friendly, hardworking, and professional.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather.
  • May be required to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a staff of employees, while working with management to handle all janitorial duties of a site.
  • Order inventory supplies, uniforms, and work orders for sites.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance standards.
  • Assist during emergencies on site.
  • Dust and polish surfaces thoroughly including windowsills, baseboards, furniture, mirrors, partitions, tiles, and fixtures.
  • Thoroughly vacuum, sweep mop and otherwise clean floors, carpets, area rugs, and runners.
  • Thoroughly scour, wash, and clean all wash basins, sinks, toilet seats, toilet bowls, and urinals.
  • Empty trash receptacles.
  • Supervise and execute general cleaning of the clubhouse / amenity’s areas.
  • Strip, buff and refinish floors.
  • Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to staff and maintain inventory.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require more intensive cleaning to your site supervisor or manager.
  • All other job duties as requested/required.
