We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects in the Nevada. Rotation: Project dependent, most commonly 14/7 Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights) Lodging & Food: Lodging OR Living / Subsistence Allowance will be provided. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Site Supervisor on heavy civil earthworks for mining, lease construction, highway construction, dam/dyke construction, landfill construction, underground utility installation, pad building, pad extensions, infills, sub prep, stripping, and/or dirt management projects is required.
  • Expert level experience as an excavator, dozer or grader operator.
  • Successful completion of Alcohol and Drug Screening
  • OSHA 10 - Hour Construction
  • OSHA 30 - Hour Construction (Supervisors / Superintendents)
  • MSHA Part 46 and/or Part 48
  • All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must
  • Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
  • Work a rotational schedule, up to 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs.
  • Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.
  • Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required.
  • Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work in support of Project Scope mandate.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with clients. Respond to inquiries promptly and carry out work as required to satisfy client requests and project quality standards.
  • Assist maintenance in scheduling equipment preventative maintenance or repair.
  • Motivate, inspire, observe, and delegate tasks to crew.
  • Inspire productivity, promote training and cross training, and create a positive team culture.
  • Build a level of knowledge and understanding of safety practices, scheduling techniques, trade knowledge and employee engagement.
  • Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, other operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.
  • Operate 2-way radio
  • Perform labour duties as / when required.
  • Assist ground personnel as / when required.
  • Other duties as / when assigned
