About The Position
Harris County Public Health (HCPH) includes a network of more than 700 public health professionals working together to improve health outcomes for the third most populous county in the United States. HCPH provides a multitude of services such as medical and dental services, community programming, and health education for the approximately 2.3 million people in unincorporated Harris County. The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Site Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the assigned WIC site and is familiar with resources in the surrounding community. The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all site operations and meeting performance metrics in accordance with State requirements. The Site Supervisor will also perform personnel and facility management duties, determine WIC applicants' program eligibility, provide nutrition education to individuals and groups, and coordinate with other programs to enhance client services.
