About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Journeyman Electrician to lead on -site operations for commercial and industrial solar installations across Arizona. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical systems, a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), proven experience installing, wiring, and commissioning electrical equipment on active job sites, and demonstrated experience managing crews and coordinating projects on -site. Experience in solar installation is highly preferred. This role combines leadership and technical execution, requiring someone who can manage the mechanical installation crew, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, oversee materials and equipment, enforce safety protocols, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards. In addition, you will perform electrical work as needed, troubleshooting issues and supporting the overall success of each project from start to finish. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Arizona preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects; solar installation experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing crews and overseeing on -site project operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, electrical safety practices, construction site logistics, equipment coordination, and low -voltage systems.
  • Proven leadership ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team while driving results.
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem -solving skills; self -motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with project teams.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites, with strong attention to safety and detail.
  • OSHA 30 -hour certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all construction operations for commercial or industrial solar projects, managing multiple sites.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including low -voltage and solar components.
  • Supervise mechanical, electrical and subcontractor crews—ensuring safe, efficient job -site performance and sharing your technical expertise.
  • Read, interpret, and enforce blueprints, drawings, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Oversee site logistics, directing teams responsible for equipment, materials, deliveries, crew scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow and on -time project completion.
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to plan ahead, anticipate issues, and deliver quality work on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate job -site documentation, track progress, and identify potential risks or challenges.
