About The Position

Allied Universal® is hiring a Site Supervisor for a retail location in Clairemont. The Site Supervisor will oversee the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site. This position requires a California Guard Card and a California Driver's License for more than 1 year. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, and the schedule includes shifts from Thursday to Monday, either from 0000-0800 or 1600-0000.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
  • Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
  • Must possess one or more of the following: service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets; minimum of one year verifiable supervisory experience in security-related industry; Associate's degree or higher in any discipline.
  • Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years if armed).
  • Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and active listening.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively and identify critical issues quickly.
  • Ability to compile, sort, and interpret data.
  • Research and investigate information.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of personnel).
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
  • Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS.
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance.
  • Perform operations and related functions such as payroll, reviewing incident reports, and assisting in preparation of security surveys and post orders.
  • Make recommendations for personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
  • Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary.
  • Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding their duties.
  • Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
  • Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders.
