About The Position

The Site Superintendent at Renewable Solar Inc. is responsible for managing the construction and commissioning of photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves direct oversight of site builds, coordination with construction teams, and adherence to building codes and standards. The Site Superintendent will work closely with the Construction Management Team and will be evaluated based on project delivery metrics.

Requirements

• Current knowledge of Construction Building Codes and Standards related to Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Trades for PV Solar.
• Valid driver's license and ability to commute frequently between job sites.
• Strong communication skills for daily interactions with the Construction Manager and weekly communication with the Construction Quality Control Manager.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in managing PV solar construction projects.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Monday.com.

Responsibilities

• Manage PV site builds and commissioning of solar systems ranging from 100kW to 5MW and higher.
• Plan and execute projects in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Leverage RSI resources to execute scheduled work efficiently.
• Assist in the development of two-week look-ahead schedules and the overall master schedule.
• Schedule quality control inspections for each definable feature of work (DFOW).
• Maintain daily reports and weekly progress summaries for projects.
• Schedule final construction and operations walkthroughs and call in final inspections.

Benefits

• Negotiable compensation based on qualifications, estimated between $32-$43/hour ($65k-$90k/year) + incentives.
