About The Position

The Site Superintendent/Electrician RMMR with Electrician Certification will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction, maintenance, and DoD fueling system repair projects under the Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) program. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of all applicable safety regulations. The Superintendent will supervise technicians while also performing hands on work, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with industry and government standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years working as an electrician on aviation fueling and/or oil & gas industry system maintenance, repair, and construction projects or other industrial/commercial construction projects.
  • Minimum five (5) years aviation fueling and/or oil & gas industry system maintenance, repair, and construction to include operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Possess current Journeyman Electrical Certification
  • Possess OSHA 30-hour Safety Course
  • Possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License
  • Possess a favorable motor vehicle report
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Possess knowledge, skills, and training in written communications to initiate, compose, and enforce the activity hazard analysis as set forth in EM 385-1-1 for each individual specific work task.
  • Abilit to orally communicate to implement the activity hazard analysis prior to performing each work task.
  • Knowledge of UFGS for DoD Fueling System Design
  • Knowledge of API 650/653, API 570, ASME welding requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction design/engineering documents
  • Knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to use commercial software applications, including Microsoft Office—with emphasis on Word and Excel.
  • Possess proficiency in assigned function and attention to details.
  • Ability to obtain a CAC card

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the construction, installation, and maintenance of DoD fueling systems and related infrastructure.
  • Inspect, piping/valve/flange repairs, meter calibration, and other system maintenance activities.
  • Perform electrical tasks such as installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and components.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components
  • Use test equipment and hand tools to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Responsible for the successful performance of the contract site and ensuring project safety and quality control.
  • Primary liaison with the Prime customer on site.
  • Apply the requirements contained in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Regulations, EM 385-1-1.
  • Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management and other departments.
  • Monitor and report field execution status with Service Order Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership.
  • Assist the Service Order Manager in preparing and executing Request for Information (RFIs) requests with designers and engineers and when site issues arise to remedy issues quickly, cost effectively, and avoid schedule delays.
  • Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them.
  • Complete Daily Quality Control Reports (DQCR).
  • Direct the enforcement of the site-specific safety plan.
  • Supervise all Chenega site personnel and subcontractors
  • Other duties as assigned
