About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Site Security Manager to lead Security Operations during Phase 1 construction of a large-scale data center project. This role is critical in establishing security protocols from the ground up, ensuring full control of site access, asset protection, and contractor accountability. This position requires a strong background in Data Center Security and Construction Site Security Operations, with the ability to manage a dynamic, high-traffic environment. Establish and manage all security operations for a data center construction site (Phases1-5) The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively safeguarding the premises, including, at times, patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. Requirements

Direct experience in data center security (REQUIRED)
Experience managing security for construction sites or large-scale projects
Minimum 3–5 years of security management or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of access control, badging systems, and site security protocols
Proven leadership and ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (contractors, project managers, clients)
Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work flexible hours, including early construction shifts, nights, and weekends on call
Must meet all state licensing requirements
Background Check required
Be at least 18 years of age for UNARMED roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

UNARMED Security License (State of Ohio) (Required)
Must have Site Security experience

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting hyperscale or enterprise-level data center projects
Familiarity with security platforms such as TrackTik or similar reporting systems
Background in critical infrastructure, logistics, or industrial site security
Experience managing subcontracted security teams

Responsibilities

Oversee access control for all contractors, vendors, and personnel entering/exiting the site
Implement and enforce badge systems, credentialing, and visitor management processes
Supervise security officers and ensure proper post coverage across all shifts
Conduct perimeter security oversight including fencing, entry points, and vehicle access
Coordinate closely with project management, site leadership, and contractors
Ensure compliance with client security standards and construction safety expectations
Monitor and enforce adherence to site policies, including unauthorized access prevention
Manage incident response, reporting, and escalation procedures
Maintain accurate documentation including logs, DARs, and incident reports
Perform routine site audits and security assessments as construction progresses
Assist in developing scalable security operations for future project phases
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
