About The Position

The Site Security Monitor Associate (SSMA) plays a crucial role in ensuring the security integrity of a construction site for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) under the NAVSUP SCIF Construction Management Support Contract. This position is responsible for implementing the Construction Security Plan (CSP) and ensuring compliance with ICD 705 standards. The SSMA acts as the primary contact for SCIF construction security, coordinating with government entities and overseeing security measures throughout the construction process.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of ICD 705 construction standards.
• Must have an Active Top Secret (TS)/SCI security clearance.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security integrity of the construction site.
• Implement the requirements of ICD 705 and ensure security personnel have the necessary experience.
• Work with the SECNAV SSO to develop and submit the final implementation plan for the CSP.
• Conduct periodic security inspections to ensure compliance with ICD 705 and the CSP.
• Identify and report any concerns, deviations, or violations to the COR and SECNAV SSO.
• Control site access and document security violations or deviations from the CSP.
• Monitor and interact with construction workers to prevent the introduction of surveillance devices.
• Write detailed reports and analyze security situations requiring action.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, violations, and incidents; upload photographs daily.
• Conduct random inspections to ensure no prohibited materials are on site.
