  • Oversee the security operations program at the assigned facility.
  • Manage security personnel and crime and violence prevention.
  • Develop and implement security protocols.
  • Ensure the protection of people, property, and assets.
  • Work closely with other departments, law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Respond to incidents promptly including safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or armed forces.
  • Relevant professional certifications in security management or related areas, like Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Threat Management (CTM).
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
  • Ability to maintain Level 3 & 4 license with the Texas Online Private Security (TOPS).
  • Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
  • Experience in the armed forces in a critical MOS.
  • Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management.
  • Experience working in an ever-changing and/or construction environment.
