About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety operations across two active paint shop environments . This role is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who can adapt quickly, lead by example, and work comfortably in industrial settings with varying schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience in an industrial or operational environment
• Experience with confined space, LOTO, heavy machinery, maintenance, or paint shop operations
• Industrial cleaning or chemical handling experience a plus
• Union experience or knowledge (a plus)
• Military background (a plus)
• Bilingual (a plus)
• Comfortable conducting safety and quality audits
• OSHA certification preferred; HAZMAT and CPR/First Aid a plus
• Safety-related degree or professional background preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce safety programs across multiple work areas
• Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans, JSAs, pre-task plans, and permits
• Conduct safety audits, observation tours, inspections, and jobsite walk-throughs
• Lead safety training for new hires and existing employees (including group/classroom settings)
• Mentor and enforce safety standards, policies, and regulatory compliance
• Investigate incidents, complete reports, and implement corrective actions
• Support confined space work, lockout/tagout, and hazardous material handling
• Assist with safety equipment selection, inspections, and inventory
• Train or qualify employees on powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts)
