As a Site Safety Specialist at DN, you will coordinate and oversee activities of site personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations at our Aiken, SC project site. This person will also assist with providing safety training, facilitating safety meetings, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all stakeholders.

Requirements

2+ years experience in a construction safety role
OSHA 30 for construction certified
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office
Strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

OSHT, IHIT, CHST certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

Coordinate and conduct pre-job meetings to address hazards associated with the job site.
Conduct safe worker observation reports and submit to the STR
Conduct and document daily safety
Work closely with Construction Management team, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure implementation of and compliance with safety policies.
Actively promote and integrate the "WOW! factor" safety application across project sites to enhance safety practices and cultivate a culture of safety excellence.
Ensure compliance on jobsite with safety regulations and company policies while providing coaching, mentoring, and training to the construction team to enhance safety awareness and practices.
Assist in safety incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and manage the complete injury cycle, including managing hotline calls and initial triage.
