The Site Safety Manager reports to the Modular Installation EHS Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations at assigned installation sites adhere to the TAS Jobsite EHS Program for TAS module installation.

  • Assist the Modular Installation EHS Manager and the TAS Corporate EHS Director in developing an EHS program for field installation and construction of TAS Modular equipment
  • Ensure that all TAS employees, contractors and vendors on assigned jobsites complete all required site safety orientations and drug testing and maintain appropriate records
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings with all TAS employees, contractors and vendors
  • Build and maintain relationship with Client safety management and attend client safety meetings as directed
  • Regularly review all TAS site operations to ensure the safety of all personnel on TAS installation and construction sites and Inspect sites regularly to identify potential hazards and implement solutions
  • Work with Site Manager and Superintendents to ensure proper implementation of Safety Program at each TAS construction/installation site.
  • Ensure that all site personnel are trained on the site's JSA program and that JSA's are complete daily
  • Work with Modular Installation EHS Manager to maintain all training and safety records for site construction employees and contractors
  • Investigate and document all incidents and report findings to Modular Installation EHS Manager and Site Manager
  • Maintain running safety report including observations, near misses and violations and report to EHS Manager and Aftermarket leadership
  • Resolve all conflicts and interface issues regarding adherence to safety standards with Client's and General Contactor's EHS management
  • All other duties as assigned by TAS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and time management
  • Proven knowledge of construction safety regulations and guidelines
  • Basic skills with MS Office suite and construction management software
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and practices
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
  • High School diploma plus extensive construction safety program experience
  • Safety certifications and training through OSHA 30
  • 5 years of experience leading a safety program in construction and/or modular installation environment in multiple states
  • Proven track record of collaborating with various construction disciplines on safety matters
  • Ability to travel domestically on short notice
  • High energy, driven individual that communicates and interacts well in a team environment
  • Results oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills
