About The Position

PCI is seeking a Site Safety Representative for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. This individual will be responsible for the following duties: Promote safety, safe work practices, and behaviors to instill an injury-free culture throughout all site and field personnel. Assist the branch/site with implementing and administering the company’s accident prevention plan, policies, and procedures, including safety resources such as training, expertise, and guidance. Represent PCI and participate in Safety Committee activities. Assist in identifying, correcting, and mitigating routine and non-routine safety and health hazards. Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted timely and per client requirements and expectations. Council and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety health hazards. Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate compliance. Responsible for investigating and evaluating injuries and illnesses for the project site. Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of the plant site and corporation. Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE). Hourly: $30-$40 depending on experience.This position is safety-sensitive. Please note, this role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
Local to the Dallas metro area
