About The Position
Moore Industries is the premier Industrial Building contractor on the river, with headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA, and additional offices in Houston, TX, Lake Charles, LA, and Thibodaux, LA. The Site Safety Coordinator will report directly to the Corporate Safety Manager and will be responsible for being the first line of safety at all client facilities. This role includes ensuring that all safety requirements and objectives are met for each job, providing HSE site support for various company organizations and internal clients, and following proper injury management protocols and notifications. The coordinator will conduct daily site visits, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety sharings, as well as perform observations and reporting according to company and client requirements. Regular meetings with the Corporate Safety Manager will be held to review safety metrics, perform job observations, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. The coordinator will also check personnel training records for compliance and work to identify training improvements for internal personnel and subcontractors, promoting teamwork and continuous improvements within the safety organization.
