About The Position
Site Reliability Engineer The Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. As a site reliability engineer (SRE) on our team, you’ll help clients develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
- Experience supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Experience automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, including scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
- Experience managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab or GitHub
- Experience documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, or authentication
- Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX)
- Experience scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
- Experience with open technologies, DevOps, and related Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gitlab, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, and Git
- Experience with cloud native container orchestration technologies, including EKS
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
- AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or Certified DevOps Professional Certification
