Requirements

  • Self-motivated problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in Linux operations and troubleshooting.
  • Experience: 12 years in software development/engineering, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, maintenance, and problem resolution.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred (counts as 2 years of experience). Master’s in a technical field counts as 4 years. Note: Degrees in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar are also acceptable.
  • Certifications (one required): AWS Certified Developer – Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD) Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop , and scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach to completing tasks.
  • A desire to learn and grow in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.
  • Prometheus, JIRA, HDFS, Virtualization, Salt/Ansible, Grafana, OpenStack, AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day-to-day operational stability and provide expert technical support to our customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Linux environments.
  • Contribute to the management and automation of our cloud platform infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with a fast-paced, innovative team to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide Tier 1–3 support.
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies based on customer needs.
