About The Position
Site Reliability Engineer The Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. Whether you come from a background in network engineering, systems administration, or software development—if you have a passion for making systems better, we need you! As a site reliability engineer on our team, you’ll lead the development of more robust systems for the Intelligence Community by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in multi- and hybrid-cloud virtual architectures while supporting your team of engineers and acting as a subject matter expert for your clients. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with administration of Windows and Linux servers and operating systems
- Experience with software languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, design artifacts, troubleshooting procedures, or run books
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Oracle Cloud services and infrastructure
- Experience with VMWare, Cisco, and Citrix
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, and DevOps processes
- Bachelor's degree
- AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS CloudOps, or RHEL certification
