About The Position

Site Reliability Engineer The Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. As a site reliability engineer on our team, you’ll lead the development of more robust systems for the Intelligence Community by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of operational systems while supporting your team of engineers and acting as a subject matter expert for your clients. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems or software engineering roles
  • Experience with supporting, troubleshooting, and performing minor maintenance activities for Java Springboot applications
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications, and using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines built for classified environments, and Agile methodology
  • Experience with version control systems, including Bitbucket and GitLab
  • Ability to provide call-in support after hours on a rotational basis
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues quickly and efficiently and assist customers with technical issues via phone or email
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DOD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND, GICSP, or GSEC, or IAT level III Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technologies such as NiFi, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, or ArgoCD
  • Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Experience supporting technical review, planning, and discrepancy boards
  • Experience with performing Release Management activities
