As we continue our rapid growth, we're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team! At , we're passionate about improving the lives of students, and that passion drives how we build our product and serve our customers. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. You will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and automation solutions.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
  • Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Automate operational tasks and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical incidents and ensure system availability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and address reliability concerns.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and playbooks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SRE practices and tooling.
  • Collaborate with internal compliance teams to maintain our security posture
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, GoLang, or Ruby.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
