About The Position

York's complete Space Segment Solution includes spacecraft production, payload integration, system integration & test, launch services, ground segment services, and mission operations, enabling customers to leverage York's existing technology solutions to get to orbit rapidly and responsively. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Site Reliability Engineer with 2-3 years' direct relatable experience in both cloud and on-premises software development and production environments and delivery. We want our engineer to build solid reliable services, improve our delivery, share their experience to elevate the staff, the department and York as a whole. As an SRE, you will assist the Director of Site Reliability in architecture deployment, monitoring management for York software platforms, integrating physical hardware with cloud infrastructure. You will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab runners. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment and enjoys the challenge of creating elegant solutions from complex, multi-faceted design requirements. Currently this role requires onsite with some flexibility based on team rotational schedules. Providing on-prem support is a vital aspect of the work. Active clearance a plus but ability to get and maintain Top Secret clearance is a must. Infrequent but occasional travel is possible with this position.
