As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your primary responsibility is architecting, deploying, and overseeing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You will optimise system performance, ensure high availability, and implement security best practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to automating processes, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting issues. Your expertise in cloud platforms, networking, and infrastructure management will be crucial in delivering efficient and reliable cloud services. It's important to clarify that this role is automating tasks, and we seek SRE with DevOps specifically.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux hosting environments.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, virtual networks, network security groups, and DNS domain administration.
  • Experience implementing monitoring tools and practices with a strong focus on early detection of potential system bottlenecks and anomalies.
  • Proficiency in scripting, including typescript, yaml, bash and PowerShell.
  • Working with server images and volume snapshots for disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and full SDLC processes.
  • Experience and knowledge in setting up Containers in a Cloud environment, which includes being knowledgeable in Docker and other container tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues methodically and under pressure.
  • Strong relationship skills with effective communication, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple competing teams to address their software delivery needs.
  • High degree of accountability and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, proactive initiative, team player mentality, willingness to learn, and alignment with the business culture.
