About The Position

Site Reliability Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. As a site reliability engineer on our team, you’ll develop more robust systems for Veterans by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with key indicators for IT system operability, reliability, application performance, or code quality
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, or troubleshooting complex applications at enterprise scale
  • Experience operating Linux workloads in cloud environments
  • Experience with CI/CD, including Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
  • Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and PagerDuty
  • Experience with application performance monitoring using Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with container orchestration platforms and container registries
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
