About The Position

Under limited supervision, develops and designs deliverables that support the resolution of complex problems and technical design gaps. Leads improvement initiatives that are aligned with overarching global reliability of the company's systems, including capacity planning, failover strategies, performance improvements and reduction of mean time to awareness/resolve. Leverages critical thinking to improve best practices and provides recommendations that ensure reliability and resiliency. Provides guidance to those in less senior positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or equivalent work experience.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability.
  • Knowledge of reliability and availability engineering, implementing SLAs and SLOs.
  • Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, DevOps, and CICD.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design deliverables that support the resolution of complex problems and technical design gaps.
  • Lead improvement initiatives aligned with global reliability of the company's systems.
